On the 4/3/2010 Delays

Just to head off a few common criticisms of the 4/3 delays:

1. Some have suggested this was related to Easter, and it might be, but it still has not changed as of Sunday 4/4/2010, and there are plenty of other countries that one might expect to experience similar delays on Easter that don't (Ireland, UK, Germany, Austria, Philippines, Brazil, etc...).

2. It is not just because it's a weekend. I've been checking every day, including weekends, since 2/19, and there have never been any changes. This is probably because the times listed are generally business days anyway.

3. Whatever the reason, this is not just another minor delay. As you can see from the posts below, it is of a completely different size and character than any of the minor delays experienced in the past 6 weeks. Obviously this may still just be a fluke, but it is at least noteworthy.



UPDATE: Apparently all of these stores have 2 day delays for all of their products, not just the MBP. iMacs, Macbooks, Mac Pros, iPods, etc. So... make of all this what you will.
